The Church is the spiritual family of God (Ephesians 3:14-15; 1 Timothy 3:5) on earth which exists continually (Hebrews 10:25) to spread the good news of abundant life from Jesus Christ.  It is also often called the “Body of Christ” which is made up of believers all serving Him (1 Corinthians 12).  It is designed to serve and glorify God.  Members of the Church are those immersed into Christ (exclusive) or transferred upon confession of faith and previous immersion and Christian character (inclusive).
